Dear Members of APU,

 

We would like to bring your attention to some significant updates regarding your membership with APU as well as APU National Powerlifting Championships (3-Lift).

 

Re. Memberships

  1. Pro Rata Membership Fee Refund Deadline:
    Due to APU's de-affiliation from IPF, the deadline for applying for your pro rata refund is on 31 DEC 2023. Kindly note that APU will only accept refund applications until 23:59 Brisbane time on 31 DEC 2023. 

No refund requests will be processed after this time.

  1. New Membership Structure from January 2024:
    Commencing January 1, 2024, we are streamlining our membership process. Going forward, all memberships will be aligned with the calendar year, running from January 1 to December 31.
     
  2. New Membership Cost:
    The new membership cost will be announced soon.
     
  3. Invoicing and Pro rata Calculation:
    Early 2024, you will receive an invoice to renew your membership for the year. 

For 2024, membership renewal costs will be prorated. If your previous membership period was from 5 April 2023 to 4 April 2024, we will calculate the cost and send you an invoice based on the period from 5 April 2024 to 31 December 2024. 

Your membership renewal payment is due by January 31 for pro rata consideration.
 

  1. Membership Termination and New Registrations:
    Please be informed that APU will terminate old memberships after 31 JAN 2024. Any renewals post-January will be treated as brand-new memberships (i.e. Full-Amount applied).

 

To those who are required alternative options for membership payment, please contact APU via secretary@powerlifting.org.au no later than 31 JAN 2024.

 

Re. APU National Powerlifting Championships (3-Lift)

It will be held in the 2nd half of 2024 for ALL age categories

  • Powerlifting Unequipped
  • Powerlifting Equipped
