Thank you for all the feedback.

Following the AGM, the Board has determined that current conditions and the environment cannot support APU's goal of successfully achieving ASC recognition now or in the future.

This, as a goal of the APU, means that the federation will not be able to maximise what is potentially available to our sport in Australia “as an IPF affiliate.”

Furthermore, as a sport “not” affiliated with an international body, APU can be the first point of contact for management and member complaints, and can and/or will continue to offer an impartial and independent organisation for the management of disputes.

We sincerely hope there will be a new successor of IPF affiliate in Australia.
