Notice_Technical Rules

To All APU members 

A reminder to all referees, coaches, and athletes. 

The pictured sock and similar socks are not permitted to be worn in any APU or IPF Competition. This item has been banned by the IPF since 2020 and is still currently not allowed. As per: 

Shoes and Boots (Pg 14. IPF Technical Rules 2023) 

(e) Socks with a rubber outside sole lining are not allowed in disciplines - Squat/Bench Press/Deadlift 

Be reminded that penalties apply if a lifter is found to be wearing illegal equipment.
